Earlier this year, AIA Chief Executive, Philip Turnbull
visited Barcelona to meet with the Catalan Association
of Accounting and Management (ACCID) and sign a joint
proposal for co-operation.
The co-operation agreement between AIA and ACCID
enables the two bodies to pool their resources, such as
sharing articles, and therefore expand the range of
resources available to their respective members.
Co-operation covers the following areas:
Sharing of articles between International Accountant
and Accounting & Business Review
Reciprocal web site links
Sharing of event information and resources; members
can attend either body's events
Possibility of co-hosting future conferences
Speaking after the meeting, Mr Turnbull said: “I am
delighted that the AIA and ACCID will be working together
in the future for the mutual benefit of members from both
bodies. The Association is now looking forward to
developing a strong working relationship.
